International GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards) seminar was hold by Dr. Liudmyla Zhurakhovska, Ukrainian RIPS EMEA Representative, the Chairman of UAIB-UTFA GIPS Working Group, Pro-rector of KIMI, and Dr. Stanislav Zhurakhovskyi, the Working Group member, Professor of KIMI on 9 October 2009 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
More than 30 Georgian Financial Market participants, including Georgian Parliament Financial Committee members, regulators, Georgian Stock Exchange directors (www.gse.ge), BG Capital (www.bgcapital.ge) and Constanta (www.constanta) chairmen, Central Securities Depository of Georgia director, Mass Media and USAID representatives, met five-hours seminar with great interest and attention and initiated active discussion.
IBSU (International Black Sea University - http://www.ibsu.edu.ge/) hosts the seminar, organized by the Partners for Financial Stability (PFS), USAID founded project, implemented by the East West management Institute, NY (EWMI), coordinated by Piotr Korynski.
