UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) – це підприємства з колективного (спільного) інвестування в оборотні цінні папери (такі, що перебувають в обігу на регульованих ринках); є відкритими фондами із публічним розміщенням і жорсткими вимогами до складу, якості, ліквідності та структури активів. Регулюються відповідною Директивою (Directive 2009/65/EC від 13 липня 2009, зі змінами) та іншими пов’язаними актами законодавства ЄС. Вони є найбільш подібними до діючих українських відкритих ІСІ, також їхнє створення та функціонування в Україні буде передбачене новим Законом, що транспонує вимоги права ЄС в українське законодавство відповідно до Угоди про асоціацію Україна-ЄС і зобов’язань України як кандидата на членство в ЄС.
